Finally took them out for a photoshoot... It was way long over due! Went a couple of places.... and I must say. I like what I get! :) Let the picture talk! The 70-200mm L lens really came in handy! It is not an IS lens but still... with lots of light and a pretty steady hands. I did achieved what I wanted. All these pictures are not edited a single bit!
 Singapore Botenic Garden  Just a little OOF at Ah Bui but still... For small prints. It would be great  Another group shot... I did not have a tripod but I still managed to sneak in for a few shots with the aid of chairs around!  This would be the 3rd set of clothes Bao brought. If I recall correctly, the kids too had 3 sets each.  Kinda cute picture here. Zach looking all smiley. He was very excited the entire day. 
The shoot ended with a fun shot. Okay, they looked funny. Zach was not inside... He was almost crying from the side due to 2 tiny splinters went into his feet! We got them out only when we got back home.
Too many pictures... Thats enough for now! Still a lot of room for improvement. Cant wait for the next session! :)

Got this baby, at a good price. $740 to be exact. Wanted to try an Android phone sometime back but never action on it till I've had my hands on Android device finally and I must say it's good! OK, screen size was one of the biggest factor actually. Somehow, I am sorta sick of tiny screen. So now.... I am in love with this gadget! Gonna be my play baby for the time being!
Brought Zach together with Anthony and his son to Great World City after market just now. The best part is I left Zach with Anthony and his son Bryan while I went to do some light gym workout. It's been awhile since my last workout due to soccer.
Back home and slept till about now. Thinking of some nice food for dinner.but taking into consideration of the money I lost last night on mahjong, hmmmm.... sucks ! Let's eat cheap food Zach! Posted via HTC One X!Posted via LiveJournal app for Android. |

Gym this morning with James Thu, was a bad on cuz I had too much before the session, in fact it was soup.... Way too much. When I started my usual run followed by weights. I felt so uncomfortable and I had to go puke out the undigested soup! After that it was over for the day. No way I was gonna continue. Still even a simple workout at gym was great. Together with James, we went to Funan Digital Mall and did some expensive shopping! For camera accessories!! Wanted to get a 70mm-200mm lens. Got it I did. It's the EF 70mm - 200mm F4 L lens by Canon. Could not afford the one with Image Stabilizer. Bought a camera bag and a 3rd party flash as well. Spent $1.4k. Signed of course ;) It was well worth it!
Zach was of course the first subject I had to take. Image Stabilizer sure is hell important, else I would need a tripod for clear shots. Else I have to take in a lot of light. If not, the image would definitely be blurred.
The flash is great. Cheap and good in fact i thought there's no diff in term of quality from the Canon one. These are just fun shots anyway :) He enjoyed himself at TPY

Soccer tomorrow at 3pm, was planning with Bao to get out for a day of photoshoot if time permits. We had always been talking about spending a good day out for a photo session. Hopefully we can make it!

| Can't sleep... |

I can't sleep. 1:30am now and I need to be in HQ for meeting tomorrow at 9am. What shall I do? Darn. Actually I just went back 3-4 years in time browsing through the blog entries I had put up. Memories, sweet memories. The kids had grew up so much. Seriously I missed those days when they were so much younger. Its really stressful now, thinking about their up coming. Especially their studies. Zach would be enrolling into Primary 1 this June or July for entry next year. He's gonna go to 'big' school as he always put it. Zach's not good at reading, this I am worried. Blame a lot on me. I have not spend enough time reading with him. I am trying ... Or am I?
This was taken during Brother's Wedding reception. In fact I never load any pictures up. Hmmm. Ok I was lazy. Well the kids look about this. Not much changes? I really want to take more pictures of my family. I want to capture every day of their lives. I want a better lens for my 7D! ;)

I invested in a 29 months project. Member at True Fitness. So far, its been relatively an ok investment. I have been visiting the Gym say about 3 times a week. Need to work some loose fats off. Got Josh and James x2 to do this together. Hope I'll last the 29 months! Might go tomorrow evening if I am not too shagged after soccer at 5pm.
I better get some rest now. |

Another missing in action updates. Last one was January time? Somehow I don't know what to write anymore. The idea of this blog is actually for the kids. When they are older, they could look back into 'time'. Thats the primary objectives of setting this up. Think about it, it goes back many years already. I should load more pictures up. That is if the hosting server is still around in 20 years time. Will it be? Skitch... I doubt it will die. I need more picture time! Trusty old 7D is largely under used. Always been wanting to get a new lens to compliment it but never materialized.
Here's a video of a fun day out with Zach together with Delywn and his family yesterday. At Pasir Ris fish farm, did some pawning but NOTHING was caught! Had 5 encounters, but nothing up the hook! ;) Anyway this video was taken when we fed the monster fish. Its called 'Arapaima'. Huge fish! Zach was so scare. But he managed to dumb a piece inside. Will wanna bring him there again soon. Mum's stall opened... after a good 10 months of break. Business is terrific but thats gonna wear down both Mum and Bao. Fortunately its all self-service now. Thus always forming a long queue. Will take a shot someday. Both Mum and Bao have been experiencing bad aches recently. Darn. Tough life. But Mum's not slowing down... Still gonna work and earn whatever she can! Only Sister can convince her. Anyway Sister and Bro and all would be coming here later. Bao prepared food Vietnam Beef Kway Tiao. Great food up coming! Will load the pictures later!! Will try to keep this going! |

Almost $20,000 or so richer just a few days back! Pain in the ass! :) Just 2 digits apart and I will be on a spending spree... Then again, somehow I am immune to it. Cause it happened like so many times.
0751 had made me $20k odd richer so far... It could had been $40k!! Next time... I will buy buy buy! In fact, just a draw before this, I could had strike first prize if I was thinking more. ;) My friend's car opened 1st! Lucky him! But this CNY, the returns had been quite ok. Lost the first 2 days but made back the rest of the week... I am referring to mahjong and blackjack with friends. Whats a CNY without gambling! I miss mahjong already!
 
Zach and Pizza... Of late, its pizza and pizza and more more pizza. If I were to ask him now, he would gladly want to eat now! More Dominos lately. 2 times a week maybe and the thing is we are not sick of it. :) He has grown yet again. He would be 6 this year. He's grown in height but lost a lot of mass! Bao is not happy about that certainly. She miss having the chubby Zach. Me too actually, but as long as he's fine :) Kendice is making him cry right this moment... Yawns.
Having a terrible stomach upset since morning. Been in and out of the toilet countless time! Gonna go again... really soon!

| A buddy left... |

It's now 6am. My buddy of 10 years juz left Singapore, going off to the States for work for 2 years and likely to extend. How nice huh? Lot more pay and lesser stuffs to do. Usually for detachment, they would be a lottery focus on the job. Anyway Nick should be flying off right now. I'm surely gonna miss him. Yep... Bloody miss him! One by one... All leaving! Darn!
A picture I took of him yesterday. We met up last night for a final kopi session. 2 years... Darn that's long! If possible, highly not though, I'll love to pay him a visit! Well whatever it is, he will be a rich man when he's back!

| Merry Christmas |

It's Christmas... Another year ending. In fact yesterday we had a family gathering at Cousin Liping's house! It was a great get together after all these time. But too bad Bao and kids not with me. They are still in Vietnam but will be returning today! After like 10-11 days. I miss them! At the Xmas gathering yesterday. Something pleasant happened.... After like 5 years! 
Cool huh? 9518 opened, after easily 5 years. Just a little money actually. But it's still handy to the amounting bills! Well today will be another good day! Let's strike again!?
